FASTING TESTIMONIES I SOUGHT GOD FOR MINISTRY DIRECTION THROUGH FASTING

Briefly, I believe with everything in me that God wants His people knowing the call on their lives at any given time, the person they are to marry, the profession and/or job that God knows is best for them at the time, what local church fellowship is best for us to be a part of, etc. Yet I also believe Satan works so hard at trying to keep us confused about it.
I can't encourage God's people enough to use the weapon of fasting (of course along with prayer) to gain clear focus, or regain clear focus if it has been lost, about matters that will affect them greatly in the future.
Furthermore, if a person's relationship with God has grown stale, unexciting, frustrating, doubtful, I strongly encourage them to consider using the 'doorway of fasting, to get some breakthrough from God.
If a person's mental and/or physical health is robbing them of their peace and joy (and possibly finances!), I would strongly encourage them to reach in their 'spiritual closet,' grab the weapon of fasting and blow off the dust, and USE it. 'm a strong believer in letting the medical people help me with my health issues, but I also know who has MORE wisdom than doctors for my particular situation(s) I may be dealing with. His name is doctor Jesus! When doctor Jesus agrees with the counsel my doctor is giving me, it's a GO. Otherwise, it's a HOLD, and/or do what my Creator is telling me to do, even if the doctor disagrees. But to clearly hear what doctor Jesus has to say about my particular situation, I may have to seek Him in fasting to have the confidence that I'm clearly hearing Him.
Though this may not be the case with others, it has been rare when I've fasted in the past to hear God clearly WHILE I'm fasting about wisdom and direction (or whatever else I might be seeking Him for). Almost always, it's after I break the fast in the days that follow that I receive from Him. I share this only so readers don't allow frustration to lie to them that the fast either isn't working, and/or God can't be concerned with my fasting, otherwise He would have acknowledged it by now.
God's time is hardly ever our time, but God's time is ALWAYS the right time.

For those of you who have testimonies of breakthrough from God through fasting, PLEASE send us your Jesus glorifying testimonies to publish as encouragement for others. Fasting is a powerful weapon God has given us to move Him to bring victory over our struggles, and most Christians don't fast simply because they are like me ... they are addicted to food and don't want to admit that to themselves. And/or - they fasted once or twice in times past and didn't have the proper knowledge nor wisdom to know what was going on regarding withdrawals (detoxing of poisons), and the pain was so intense of going through those withdrawals that they told themselves: "Never again!" If I've learned anything about spiritual warfare, Satan doesn't mind how much a Christian prays. What makes him really nervous is when a Christian employs the weapon of fasting with prayer. He KNOWS odds increase greatly that the added fasting will move God to act on our behalf like little else will.
I've never experienced an "unsuccessful" fast, by the way, and I know there will never be one in the future. (The benefits alone of purging toxins from the body can never be fully measured). I've just learned that God doesn't always grant me what I would like to receive from Him in my time frame, but unless I fast, I may never KNOW what He's willing to do for me either ... nor do for others I'm praying and believing breakthrough for.
Dear Reader - are you at peace with God? If not, you can be. Do you know what awaits you when you die? You can have the assurance from God that heaven will be your home, if you would like to be certain. You can even have that assurance RIGHT NOW! Either Jesus Christ died for your sins, or He didn't (He did!). Are you prepared to stand before God on the Judgment Day and tell Him that you didn't need the shed blood of Jesus Christ on the Cross to have your sins forgiven and get in right-standing with God? We plead with you...please don't make such a tragic mistake.
To get to know God, to be at peace with God, to have your sins forgiven, to make certain heaven will be your home for eternity, to make certain that you are in right-standing with God right now ... please click here to help you understand the importance of being reconciled to God. What you do about being reconciled to God will determine where you will spend eternity, precious one. Your decision to be reconciled to God is the most important decision you'll ever make in this life, because in Christ, it is impossible to put a value on the worth of your soul in light of eternity.

Remember: All that we do in this life comes back to our God-given purpose which is to serve and glorify God. The money and assets we accumulate, the fame and power we've attained or seek to attain - all of the things of this nature will one day pass away, but those lives of others we impact for Jesus Christ will last for eternity, and we will be rewarded for the part we helped play by impacting those lives ... for eternity. (Matthew 6:19-21 is our assurance)
