What we do because we are persuaded by the Holy Spirit to move forward in faith and do it can NEVER be underestimated in light of eternity. Satan works so hard to try to get us to not realize this.

Ponder this deeply. It applies to every born again believer desiring to do the will of God daily. (You DO desire to, don't you?):

The Apostle Paul felt God's responsibility upon him to help the local Church fellowships God used him to start grow in unity and maturity in Christ. Hence the letters he wrote to them we find God recorded in the New Testament Bible for us to read today.  

My point? You and I are no different in the mind of God than the Apostle Paul was when it comes to our doing God's will before we step into eternity. God can use ANYONE of us He wills to impact the lives of others for His glory and their spiritual growth, but unless we BELIEVE that, we may find that God has to use someone else because we believed Satan's lie that never stops: 'God would NEVER use YOU. You aren't important to God as the Apostle Paul was. You KNOW that, so let it go. God can always find someone ELSE to do it if He wants it bad enough.' 

COULD God have found someone else besides the Apostle Paul to do what God called Paul to do? No doubt in my mind He could have. Yet here is what I believe the Lord would have us seriously consider. At the Judgment Seat of Christ, when God will reward us for our faithfulness to what He has called each of us to do as believers, what will it be like for the Apostle Paul to be granted full understanding of just how much His faithfulness to God has impacted so many lives around this globe since Paul went into glory. And the written words of Paul in the New Testament keep being used of God day in and day out moving forward into time. If the return of Jesus is delayed decades and decades from now ' day in and day out, people continue reading Paul's written words. God sees to it. Millions and millions of lives are being affected for the glory of Jesus Christ ' because one man refused to listen to Satan's lies that 'Your letters to the Churches are a waste of time Paul. You know those rebels aren't paying attention to anything you say. Besides - who do you think YOU are to be trying to tell them what they should or should not be doing? They can hear God for themselves. God doesn't need YOU.' 

I try to be sensitive to the Holy Spirit regarding Jesus Did It! flyer flipping. I battle with doubts just about every time I pass out the Good News Jesus Did It! flyers. 'No one is going to turn their life over to Jesus because of these flyers you toss out in front of mail boxes. Why waste your time?' The intensity of those thoughts hit me so strong just about every time I consider flipping out a Jesus Did It! flyer that I've come to realize that Satan is so active in trying to stop us from plowing forward in trust that God honors and will reward our actions at the Judgment Seat of Christ, providing our motives are pure and we are endeavoring to reach out to help reach lost souls, and/or help them somehow grow more mature in their relationship with Christ if they are already saved. 

I'll confess to you that sometimes Satan wins the battle in my mind. Some days it's not that difficult for him to talk me out of doing much of anything that pleases the Lord. I am a PROFESSIONAL at wasting time. No one is better at wasting time than I am, sad to have to say.

Around mid-2015, the Holy Spirit began to impress me to get a JESUS DID IT! cap to wear. (I've never really been into wearing hats).  I found the perfect cap on the internet. The Holy Spirit shared this with me about the cap. "Every time you wear that cap in public, you are witnessing. You might be witnessing to Christians: Being a role model for them to be MORE COURAGEOUSLY BOLD for their favorite hero in public. The world advertises their favorite hero - favorite college team - favorite motorcycle - favorite farm tractor - ... why doesn't My people want to advertise THEIR favorite ALL IN ALL? "Furthermore ... just because you don't put out flyer tracts every day or witness to people one-on-one when you are out of your house doesn't mean you can't be a witness for me every time you are around unsaved people. If you have that cap on ... they are presented with a witness. They prefer Jesus being out of sight and out of mind. You know that. But they are reminded - if just for a quick moment ... that maybe ... just maybe ... Jesus did something incredible important for them that perhaps they should check into a little more thoroughly."

God never gives up on me, nor will He YOU, if we don't let Satan defeat us indefinitely. For instance, putting out one Christian tract a month is better in God's mind than us going month after month putting NONE out. When we reach the point where we can't be bothered with putting out ANY tracts year after year, it speaks volumes to God, and it will only be us who comes up short in the potential rewards we could have received STARTING at the Judgment Seat Of Christ. 

It's not about Christian tracts, saints. It's about growing APATHETICALLY COLD to doing much of anything of lasting, eternal substance regarding the work of The Kingdom. Satan does not want us engaged whatsoever in 'doing the work of the Kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ' ' which primarily involves these efforts: 1) to help win lost souls - 2) discipleship 3) Personal prayer and fasting against evil and CORPORATE prayer and fasting. [Thank GOD more and more believers are beginning to have their heads cleared to the realization that the Body of Christ is an ARMY representing General Jesus Christ, and that WHEN the Body of Christ decides to GET PAST doctrinal issues and humble themselves and unite in common cause in prayer and fasting until the Holy Spirit releases them in the occasion, NONE of us fully realize what God may do on this planet to hold back evil, and even trigger revival in various places].

Jesus left us some SOBERING words, I firmly believe, when He said, 'Yet nevertheless, will I find faith when I return.' (See: http://biblehub.com/luke/18-8.htm) 

Jesus knew full well when He made that challenging question/statement just how intense the demonic spiritual attacks upon Christians was going to be in these last days to keep trusting God in the darkest of evil, especially if fewer and fewer people are interested in learning about The Good News Of The Gospel Of Jesus Christ, let alone giving their lives to Him.

You missionaries in remote places around the world, purposing to share the Good News Of Jesus Christ to anyone who will listen, NO ONE is more qualified than YOU to comprehend how easy it would be on many days just to pack it all up and let God call someone else to do the work because so many could care less about what Jesus Christ did for them on the cross.

You tracters, you lonely and seemingly unappreciated frontline 'Navy Seals For Jesus' out there in the highways and byways -- putting out Christian tracts and other evangelistic spiritual content, tirelessly witnessing to people one-on-one, praying for lost souls, helping minister to the poor in spirit one way or another, You faithful Shepherds who give and give and give yet constantly come under attack and have to deal with endless carnal believers who don't want to hear a clear word from the Lord in how to get breakthrough in various areas, DON'T LISTEN TO SATAN'S LIES! One lost soul saved by the redeeming power of Jesus Christ through YOUR faithful efforts may be the "Mayor" of the 10 cities Jesus is going to give to you to enjoy. One believer who finally gets breakthrough from your efforts can be used of God to bring light (Truth) to areas of spiritual darkness beyond our wildest comprehension as time passes. NEVER UNDERESTIMATE how God may use just one lost soul to be one of your GREATEST BLESSINGS in eternity. 

10 cities? Could God be talking about 10 GALAXIES? 10 UNIVERSES? 10 'something' that He hasn't even created YET? New heaven and a new earth? We have no clue. We have absolutely NO CLUE how God plans to reward us for our continued faithfulness to keep doing what God has called us to do until God says, 'Your work is over in this respective area. Be at peace.'

So dear one, don't let weariness do your thinking. Don't let rejection stop your efforts. Don't let mental (sleeplessness; depression - for instance) and physical persecution, sickness and disease, financial lack, etc., keep you down. Don't let carnal, resistant, apathetic Christians be your role models. Tirelessly PURPOSE to become THEIRS! 

"Truly, truly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do, he will do also; and greater works than these he will do; because I go to the Father.' - (John 14:12 NASB)

Ever consider signs and wonders may not be what He was talking about as many think He was (at least for believers today)? Perhaps for us today He was simply talking about being AMAZING FAITHFUL SPIRITUAL ROLE MODELS WHO REFUSE TO QUIT for His glory when no one on this planet would give you a plug nickel nor a pat on the back in this life for being one. [Grand Pa's and Grand Ma's - are you listening?!]. This much I know about "doing greater things."  God has given Christians the Internet and cell phone technology (video) to reach people around this planet that Jesus never had access to. Technology allows us to plant and water seeds of Truth ... inspired words of the Holy Spirit ... to people everywhere. I would rather be used of the Lord to help one lost soul come to Christ through a tract I flipped out than walking on water or raising an atheist from the dead who refuses to let God save his/her soul.   

Perhaps, just perhaps a time is coming when all the saints in glory are seated in the grand stadium of heaven. Jesus is the only one standing on the field. Every one is waiting with baited breath to see who Jesus calls out of the grand stands FIRST to be publicly exalted for their faithfulness on earth to Him. The Apostle Paul is sitting besides you. You'll expect him to be called out first. Most everyone will. Yet what if, just IF, YOUR name gets called out before his and Jesus calls you down to stand with Him as He shares with all the rest how blessed He is because of your faithfulness on earth in ever-pursuing the things that pleases Him the most?

You have no clue of just how valuable your are to God, dear one, when it comes to staying faithful to God's call on your life. Your call may be much different than mine, yet it's the SAME Savior we are serving, for the same eternal purposes. Let our motives be unselfishly pure (And the purest motive in all of our efforts to please God is always keep in focus that it is about glorifying HIM -- not about trying to steal a little of it for ourselves).

Don't let Satan do your thinking, saints. Discern it and shut his brainwashing techniques off, subtle as they can be. Show Satan what God wants Satan to THINK by YOUR faithful, obedient, courageous, tireless, Holy Spirit endorsed actions!

Remember:  All that we do in this life comes back to our God-given purpose which is to serve and glorify God. The money and assets we accumulate, the fame and power we've attained or seek to attain - all of the things of this nature will one day pass away, but those lives of others we impact for Jesus Christ will last for eternity, and we will be rewarded for the part we helped play by impacting those lives ... for eternity.
