Share Your Salvation Testimony!
(By: Norm Rasmussen)
Allow your salvation testimony to go out on the Internet ... for the Lord to be able to use it to plant and water in the lives of others who have YET become saved from THEIR sins through what Jesus Christ accomplished for THEM by taking the punishment for THEIR sins on the cross.
If only ONE lost soul gets saved because of your testimony, it will have been worth it, because how can the WORTH of one rescued lost soul be measured in light of eternity?!
To help reach the lost (as well as to encourage other struggling Christians going through trials, which is no small insignificant matter), I'm fully persuaded by the Holy Spirit that God our Father desires that many OTHER believers in Christ would allow THEIR salvation testimonies to go out on the Internet as WELL, because He DOES use salvation testimonies.
Most everyone has questions about God. When you share how God has become real and alive in YOUR life and how your relationship with Jesus Christ has brought glorious change in your life ... it will attract hungry, searching "fish" [Truly - People longing to make intimate contact with the REAL - LOVING - ALL FORGIVING - ALL POWERFUL - CREATOR God ... not some deceptive Satanic counterfeit].
Yet God can't use OUR salvation testimony if we FIRST don't give it to Him to use, can He? [Hint: Eternal rewards: Matthew 6:19-20]
Please encourage other believers to give God THEIR salvation testimonies to use as well. (Be willing to videotape others and upload it onto the Internet for them. Be wise - be a heavenly "investor").
It is recorded in Psalms 96:3: "Declare God's glory among the nations" - ("among the heathen" in the King James translation). Is that a universal Christian mandate ... or just a casual suggestion?
Don't underestimate how much opposition Satan will throw at you to KEEP delaying the recording of your testimony!
IMPORTANT VIDEO TIPS, SAINTS:
When you post your salvation testimony, don't just give it a simple, generic title: Give it a catchy yet truthful title. It'll get more views over the long term. You won't pick up a book to look inside it if the title doesn't appeal to you FIRST. Everyone else is no different.
Use the words "Salvation Testimony" in your catchy title if you have enough space. Internet Search Engines will reward you if you give them titles to reward. Otherwise they'll most likely punish you by putting you where few can find your testimony.
In addition, use as eight of your tags: Salvation Testimony; Salvation Testimonies; Born Again Testimony; Born Again Testimonies; Christian Testimony; Christian Testimonies; Jesus Testimony; Jesus Testimonies.
Strive for good sound. Do as much as possible to eliminate distracting background noise. Leave music OUT of your video. It competes with your voice and the hearing of the listener. If music enhanced the testimony -- meaning if music "seems" like it will make the testimony more watchable -- let's ask ourselves WHY public news reporters we watch night in and night out don't use music when they report the news. They KNOW it will turn viewers off - a distraction. So WHY do Christians think differently? People want to hear what YOU have to say. They aren't there to listen to music, and music doesn't make one's testimony "spiritual." Satan loves Christians using music however, because he KNOWS it's a distraction: NOT enhancing to the Lord's cause whatsoever.
If you feel you MUST add music to your video testimony, turn down the volume! So many quality testimonies are essentially a waste because someone doesn't know how (or care) to mix the music softly.
Good lighting really helps. One simple light shining on the testifier's face can make all the difference in the world if filmed indoors.
Some people don't realize that they can have more than one video account as long as they meet the criteria. You can make more than ONE mpg.4 file of your testimony and use different titles on the same testimony, unless that option ceases down the road.
Your salvation testimony of how Jesus Christ has gloriously changed your life for HIS glory; HIS purposes - not your worldly glory; not your worldly purposes that have little if anything to do with helping a lost soul choose to make Jesus Christ their Savior and Lord ... can be used by the Holy Spirit to touch the lives of multitudes over time - long after you have passed into glory - providing you FIRST give it to God to use. You have to give it to Him first.
And this little reminder needs to constantly be put before Christians because it's so easy to lose sight of: None of us have the assurance our heart will continue to keep beating another day. TODAY may be the last day you'll ever get to write out or speak your testimony. Don't waste your opportunity to wisely engage in Matthew 6:19-21.
Dear Reader - are you at peace with God? If not, you can be. Do you know what awaits you when you die? You can have the assurance from God that heaven will be your home, if you would like to be certain. You can even have that assurance RIGHT NOW! Either Jesus Christ died for your sins, or He didn't (He did!). Are you prepared to stand before God on the Judgment Day and tell Him that you didn't need the shed blood of Jesus Christ on the Cross to have your sins forgiven and get in right-standing with God? We plead with you...please don't make such a tragic mistake.
To get to know God, to be at peace with God, to have your sins forgiven, to make certain heaven will be your home for eternity, to make certain that you are in right-standing with God right now ... please click here to help you understand the importance of being reconciled to God. What you do about being reconciled to God will determine where you will spend eternity, precious one. Your decision to be reconciled to God is the most important decision you'll ever make in this life, because in Christ, it is impossible to put a value on the worth of your soul in light of eternity.
PLEASE HELP US HELP YOU SHARE THE BEST NEWS GOD HAS FOR EVERY PERSON BECAUSE...
JESUS DID IT! and...
Remember: All that we do in this life comes back to our God-given purpose which is to serve and glorify God. The money and assets we accumulate, the fame and power we've attained or seek to attain - all of the things of this nature will one day pass away, but those lives of others we impact for Jesus Christ will last for eternity, and we will be rewarded for the part we helped play by impacting those lives ... for eternity. (Matthew 6:19-20 is our assurance)
