Finding Peace In Perilous Times

(By: Calvin Bergsma, Pastor - Georgetown Christian Fellowship)

God assures those who belong to Jesus Christ that peace in perilous times ... peace in the midst of their storm ... is FULLY AVAILABLE to them!

"These things I have spoken to you while abiding with you. 'But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all that I said to you. 'Peace I leave with you; My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your heart be troubled, nor let it be fearful. 'You heard that I said to you, 'I go away, and I will come to you.' If you loved Me, you would have rejoiced because I go to the Father, for the Father is greater than I. 'Now I have told you before it happens, so that when it happens, you may believe."  (John 14:25-29)

HOWEVER ... there are conditions that come with acquiring peace in these perilous times. Pastor Calvin Bergsma shares what they ARE on this very ENCOURAGING and INSIGHTFUL message:

Remember:  All that we do in this life comes back to our God-given purpose which is to serve and glorify God. The money and assets we accumulate, the fame and power we've attained or seek to attain - all of the things of this nature will one day pass away, but those lives of others we impact for Jesus Christ will last for eternity, and we will be rewarded for the part we helped play by impacting those lives ... for eternity. (Matthew 6:19-20 is our assurance)
