INTRODUCTION

It is wonderful that you are reading this book which was written to give people a better understanding of what it is like to be a new Christian in prison. Many of you have friends, relatives and loved ones in prison or jails across America at this very moment. You probably are searching for a better understanding of what they go through physically, emotionally and mentally.

Many questions about prison life are answered, but more importantly it helps to know what an inmate experiences who becomes a Christian. You will find helpful information in the following pages to support your friend or loved one while incarcerated so that they can build a strong foundation on Christ their Savior and Lord.

I hope you enjoy this book. I have included my address below so that I may give additional help to anyone who might need it, as I'm able. Being a new Christian anywhere can be hard at times. Being a new Christian in prison will teach you the true meaning of patience, peace, hope and faith. God bless you and your loved ones.

The money and assets we accumulate, the fame and power we've attained or seek to attain - all of the things of this nature will one day pass away, but those lives of others we impact for Jesus Christ will last for eternity, and we will be rewarded for the part we helped play by impacting those lives ... for eternity. (Matthew 6:19-21 is our assurance)
