Darol Stacy came from a family of 12.  One might thing he would have received plenty of love in a family that size, but he didnít.  Instead, he experience rejection and little love.

He grew up into his teenage years, carrying the scars of that rejection.  Even when he sought out female companionship, he received even more rejection.

With a gaping hole in his heart and a need to feel loved and be accepted, a homosexual relationship seemed to fill that painful void, and for 17 years, Darol stayed in the same-sex lifestyle where he felt safe and secure.

But then the time came when He heard it said that God loves us just as we are, and accepts us just as we are.  That was a radical concept, to Darol, to say the least, and the more he listened, the more attracted he was to a God like that.

Today, Darol is happily married to Laura, a woman God gave him to feel complete with, and together they share the incredible love of God to those who are crying out for love and acceptance just like they once used to be.

We ultimately act out who we believe we ARE.  People and circumstances often influence us to believe lies about ourselves, did you know that?  For instance, if your parents told you all the time growing up that you were stupid and dumb, chances are deep down you believe it, are held in fear of failing, and never will become all you are capable of becoming.

Most people have no idea what God says they ARE in the Bible when they identify with Christ.  When Darol found out who he could be in Christ, his whole attitude changed about Christianity.

Today, Darol and his wife Laura, minister frequently in prisons.  In that setting, Darol speaks to people who were programmed from infancy to believe they would never amount to anything.  Sure enough, most grew up to believe it, and have become emotionally handicapped ever since, sadly.

Yet it is never too late to change, is it?!  God can take someone like Darol and change him or her into an entirely new creation.  Just listen to Darolís story if you want proof!  And what God has done for Darol, he can and will do for ANYONE, who is willing to let GOD be their identity, instead of the cheap counterfeits this world has handed them.
