Dennis Napieralski was filled with white hot anger.  While drinking alcohol, his temper would explode to the point where even his close friends stopped wanting to be around him.  His anger would often-times be vented on his wife and children, until the time came when his wife simply had to leave.

It wasn't like Dennis didn't know about God.  He had been raised in a Christian environment, but once in his teenage years, life seemed to be so much more fun hanging around the drinking crowd.  Little by little, alcohol became the only thing he knew of to try to deaden the pain he often felt inside him, but it also became a gateway for Satan to control him without his even realizing.

Dennis shares how God rescued him before it was too late, and now Dennis shares with great passion to all who will listen that becoming fully born again is NOT an option to going to heaven.  It happens to be the ONLY way to get there!

Multitudes don't realize that the very things they take to ease their pain, such as ' alcohol - illegal drugs ' certain prescription medications:  these things can become a double-edged sword.  They can temporarily numb one's pain, but they can also numb one's ability to discern that they are potentially opening a door wide open for the devil to have a way in their life that he wouldn't have otherwise.  Numbing one's mental pain is also usually numbing one's spiritual discernment, and as that grows number and number, pain usually increases rather than decreases, and in fact ... resisting the devil is actually diminishing.

There are a couple of scripture verses that many fail to realize the importance in what it is addressing:

Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.  Resist him, steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same sufferings are experienced by your brotherhood in the world.  - 1 Peter 5:8-9

A sober mind is God's way of helping us resist demonic attacks.  Any mind-altering substance taken to 'feel better' very often increases one's odds greatly that they will be more susceptible to demonic influence.  If you've never heard it said:  'Drugs are a gateway to the demonic' ' please do yourself a huge favor and seek God about wisdom and understanding regarding that quote.

Repressed anger such as Dennis had almost always is because that person has been hurt in the past - perhaps a number of times - and they are either holding resentment against God, and/or others, which can even include oneself.  Anger can literally be triggered by being disappointed and/or upset at ourselves, and we can be totally blind to it.  Forgiving God; forgiving those who have hurt us; forgiving ourselves ' are three KEY things we need to constantly monitor and DO, when anger begins to rise in us for very long.  Anger is NOT something that is wise to bury.  The faster we ask and trust God for help to deal with it, the MORE we will resist the devil.

Here is a more in-depth writing that deals with anger, for anyone interested:

Dennis' video testimony:  Part 1  Part 2  Part 3  Part 4

Dear Reader - are you at peace with God?  If not, you can be.  Do you know what awaits you when you die?  You can have the assurance from the Holy Spirit that heaven will be your home, if you would like to be certain.  Either Jesus Christ died for yours sins, or He didn't (He did!).  Are you prepared to stand before God on the Judgment Day and tell Him that you didn't need the shed blood of Jesus Christ on the Cross to cover your sins?  We plead with you ... please don't make such a tragic mistake.

To be at peace with God; to make certain heaven will be your home for eternity; to make certain that you are in right-standing with God right now ... please click here to help understand the importance of being reconciled to God.  What you do about being reconciled to God will determine where you will spend eternity, precious one.  Your decision to be reconciled to God is the most important decision you'll ever make in this life.
