Debra Foran was excited to have a step-father.  As a little girl, she missed greatly not having a daddy around, as most little girls do.  But along with the step-father came nightly visitations into her room, where he began to sexually abuse her.

This continued to happen for several years.  As in most cases, Debra was fearful of telling her mother or anyone else, and so she kept this dark, shameful secret to herself.

If you are a young person, and an older person is sexually engaging himself or herself with you, PLEASE take the time to watch all 7 (seven) segments of this testimony.   Being a victim of sexual and emotional abuse can bring you so much pain as you grow older, just as it did Debra.  Please do NOT keep this a secret in your life.  If you can't share it with a father or mother, then share it with a counselor at school, or a teacher, or a trusting neighbor or friend.  And better yet, call the police and tell THEM it is going on.

From the emotional shame and the sickness this sexual abuse brought to her spirit, she began to abuse alcohol and drugs at a very young age to try to dull the pain, and to pull her out of her dark shell of isolationism.  Then the drug abuse turned into full-blown drug addiction.

Having no self-worth, or compulsive desires of self-destruction of various sorts - or both - which is what sexual abuse will usually end up doing to a child, that child will then become vulnerable to all kinds of harmful things to try to fill the hole they have inside their soul for love and acceptance and security.

Debra shares how in her desperation to find any reason to keep on living, she called out to God in sincerity, and God manifested Himself to her time and time again in some very supernatural and loving and healing ways.

She also shares how God has worked mightily in many other ways in her life as well since then.  If you've ever wanted to meet someone who is FULL of love for God, Debra is that person, and that is because He has done so much for her!

If you are questioning the reality of God.  If you have no hope -- If you think you could never be forgiven for what you have done, or what has been done to you -- If you find nothing but depression and hopelessness staring you in the face every morning you wake up, as Debra did, please take the time to hear her share how GOD has given her an entirely NEW life, and He wants to do the very same thing for YOU!
