WILL YOU TRUST ME?

 By: Norm Rasmussen

One critically important reality stands out in the New Testament Bible about God that we must never lose sight of.  God constantly allows His people to be put in situations where we are forced to make a decision.  And invariably, we will have two paths we can take in making our decision:

  • One path will be the option to take matters into our OWN hands, and essentially leave God out of our decision-making process.

  • The other path will be the option to trust God FULLY in the matter, and patiently wait for Him to show us what to do.  And once we are convinced of what His answer is, and/or what direction we are to take ... THEN trust Him to have the courage to persistently follow through with it.

Hebrews Chapter 11 gives a clear picture that God absolutely delights in our trusting Him for the "impossible."

After all, in our relationship with God, nothing is impossible, but unless Jesus Christ grants His approval of our decision(s), most likely the eventual outcome of everything we do without seeking HIS direction and approval will ultimately come to : NOTHING.

"I am the vine, you are the branches.  He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing."  (John 15:5)

Dear Reader - are you at peace with God?  If not, you can be.  Do you know what awaits you when you die?  You can have the assurance from God that heaven will be your home, if you would like to be certain.  Either Jesus Christ died for your sins, or He didn't (He did!).  Are you prepared to stand before God on the Judgment Day and tell Him that you didn't need the shed blood of Jesus Christ on the Cross to have your sins forgiven and get in right-standing with God?  We plead with you ... please don't make such a tragic mistake.

To get to know God; to be at peace with God; to have your sins forgiven; to make certain heaven will be your home for eternity; to make certain that you are in right-standing with God right now ... please click here to help understand the importance of being reconciled to God.  What you do about being reconciled to God will determine where you will spend eternity, precious one.  Your decision to be reconciled to God is the most important decision you'll ever make in this life.
