As Jim and I were talking recently about these 10 Segments, I told him that I have come under conviction about how I have slipped away from witnessing personally as much as I used to once do. He shared an important insight that I feel needs to also be mentioned. "Norm - We may have lead a 10,000 souls personally to Christ; we may be completely faithful to the call God has upon our lives; etc., -- yet NONE of us are exempt from FEAR and APATHY and COMPROMISE settling in on us. It is something we must guard against ALWAYS."
Another thought Jim shared is that many of us Christians must purposely seek the Lord in how we can be in contact with more of the unsaved. If all we do is hang around saved Christians ... who will we have to witness to? In other words, how are we availing ourselves to the Lord to be used of Him to witness to the unsaved, if we are never AROUND the unsaved? (Gulp again - I know!).
