Upcoming elections may be the tipping point for the United States in many different ways, which has far-reaching ramifications that most likely will even affect little ministries such as this one.  I believe it’s a moment in history that should not pass by without some important things being said.  Having the freedom to even write something that I'm about to write and put it on the Internet may not be around in just a few years - it's THAT serious of a matter.

Those in governmental positions will do well to realize something about God:  God is first and foremost concerned about His people flourishing, and then secondly, the nation - not the other way around.  When government is concerned about God’s people flourishing, (and true disciples of Jesus Christ are God's people today), God tends to bless those running the government structure, and all living under that government’s rule tend to also be blessed to one degree or another.

We have people who say only PRAYER will move Jesus to bring change in America.  Then we have other people who say only prayer AND repentance in Christians will move Jesus to bring change to America.   And then we have other people who say that only ACTION is going to move Jesus to bring change to America.   I believe it incorporates all three.  I wonder what the possibilities were that God answered the prayers of God’s people by people giving their lives for American freedom in the Revolutionary War?  I wonder if it was God’s people praying that the stronghold of slavery would be broken over America - if it wasn’t answered by God through men and women putting their lives on the line to fight the Civil War?   I wonder if it was God’s people praying that Hitler would somehow be stopped; if it wasn’t answered by God through men and women from many different nations, not just America, who gave their lives to stop Hitler’s spreading control of evil power? 

God wants His people to prosper in all dimensions of life, and for them to prosper, God desires that His people be praying.  God wants His people walking toward holiness and non-compromise righteousness, and I know that God uses war at times if necessary to bring about change in a nation.   I am not implying that God is moving to any eventual “war mode” to bring about change in America, but there is a growing number of people in America who are getting “highly energized” about just how far we are to continue to allow politicians and law-makers and subsequently law-enforcers to compromise the Constitution of The United States as was originally intended.   Less control of the government in the lives of individual people was the intended spirit of the American Constitution, and there was good reason for it.  Due to economic trying times and concerns for security, it certainly appears to me that it is becoming easier for Satan to begin to control America more today than what he was doing in years past by increasing control of government in the lives of people.  Increasing governmental control by “economic necessity” is quite convenient, don’t you think?  

Yet what is any government in control going to do NOW that we have given away so much of our manufacturing base to third world countries?   One of the key things that is going to bring about any tangible breakthrough change to our troubling and growing economic tsunami is to start bringing our manufacturing base back.   Out of that other issues can be dealt with.   Any nation who ever became a nation of any financial and military strength steadily developed their own strong manufacturing base.  

So let us ask ourselves a very IMPORTANT question.  WHO is controlling more and more of our manufacturing these days?   America, or someone else?  Certain people in the U.S. might think we are…but we aren’t.  It’s just smoke and mirrors.   Other nations will let us think we have some say about the manufacturing located in THEIR countries…until such time as it is no longer convenient for them. 

There is a nation that not only controls much of America’s manufacturing directly and indirectly, but also controls much if not most of America’s debt.   Talk about “slavery” being still alive and well on planet earth!  America is enslaved because of the debt it owes to a nation that was given, indirectly, too much of America’s manufacturing base, and many CEO’s of big corporate America are thrilled to death over it, all for the purpose of profits.

Where I grew up, we had a saying: “He who swings the biggest baseball bat – wins.”  But if I have given my baseball bat to my friend who suddenly chooses to become my enemy…where do I get a baseball bat to swing BACK with?

But now there's a new saying going around about baseball bats that replaces that old saying:  "He who manufactures the cheapest yet biggest baseball bats...and also loans the money to the buyers and sellers of the biggest baseball bats to have manufactured in the first place...REALLY eventually wins."

Proverbs 22:7 clearly reveals a core root problem of the matter:  The rich rules over the poor, and the borrower is servant to the lender. (Servant here can also be translated to mean “Slave”).   God didn’t use a gazillion economists to come up with this key insightful truth.   It only required the wisdom of God penned by one person.

Dave Ramsey may not like me saying this, but if the leaders of our nation would ask Dave HOW to solve America’s financial problems, I seriously doubt they would care to hear what he would have to say…but I’ll bet Dave would be far more capable of speaking on behalf of God than a train load of typical American business schooled economists.  One of the first things Dave would tell them is tear up America’s credit cards, establish a sensible budget, and live within America’s means. 

We can argue that America’s moral decline is the biggest root cause of our financial decline.  I’ll agree with that statement in part…if one means that more and more key people in influential power positions in America are showing clear disdain for what God blesses and what God does not bless, and if there is any question in what that may be, the Holy Bible makes it very clear.  God blesses those who are serious about obeying the REAL God who is going to judge them on the Judgment Day - not a conglomeration of hocus-pocus "gods".  Who IS the real God?  His name is Jesus Christ THE Lord of all.

What God blesses is righteousness – right relationship with Him and right relationship with others.  Not all of the founding fathers of America’s constitution and those in political power at the time were that devoted to “righteousness”, if I’ve heard history correctly, but those who were focused on Godly “righteousness” more than anything else packed persuasive influence with their voting constituency.  God saw to it.  

However, when saying that God blesses righteousness … when it comes to the strength of a nation, God has also been known for allowing one or more foreign godless nations to come to power to teach a formerly righteous nation how to turn back to righteousness.  That is revealed over and over in the Old Testament.  Maybe that is what is really unfolding before our eyes regarding America.  Suppose?

When Israel had a king that was more concerned with what pleased the Lord than what was “politically expedient to appease who the devil wanted appeased”, God saw to it that the Jewish people began to prosper on all fronts again.  But when a compromising king came to power, just the opposite happened.  

Israel will one day prosper unlike it ever has before, once it recognizes Jesus Christ as Lord, and they MAKE Him their Lord.  It’s going to still take a lot of pain before they are willing to do that, but it IS going to happen.  America CAN prosper again, if enough voters will vote for politicians who have the courage once elected (if elected) to freely and publicly proclaim Jesus Christ as Lord.  America weighs in the crucial balances…

Incidentally, Israel would never have ceased to exist as a nation, but would have been THE strongest nation on earth today, had the "religious" rulers of Israel made certain that disciples of Jesus Christ were not to be persecuted as they were persecuted, and recognized Jesus for who He truly WAS and IS.  There's enough scripture to support the beliefs of many that God has decreed that Israel will AGAIN be the strongest nation in the world one day...but ONLY until they have been "sufficiently squeezed by their enemies" and acknowledge who THE Lord truly WAS and IS -- that being Jesus whom they pierced and hung on the cross.  (God have mercy on those enemies who do the "squeezing of Israel", however).

Here's another "incidentally":  Many Bible scholars agree that God has great plans for Israel in the future, after Jesus Christ returns, because many Bible scriptures point to it.  Conversely - Most Bible scholars agree that there are NO Bible scriptures that clearly reveal the future fate of the United States (nor any other nation) like there is Israel.  Conclusion:  America is quite expendable from God's perspective ... especially if America can no longer be trusted to be Israel's protector ... not just in "mere words", but in tangible demonstration when called upon to do so.   

Satan has been so relentless to weaken America through greed and deception, the question we must now seriously ask ourselves is:  “Do we even have a “king” anymore that even knows who the real LORD IS, let alone cares?”  The ruling elite of Israel failed to recognize who the real Lord IS, and look where it got them.  One would think the "kings" of America would learn from Israel's dire mistake.

America is growing weaker and weaker on many fronts, and Satan is loving it.  WHY?  Primarily because the weaker America becomes, the more he can control America.  The more he can control America, the easier it is for him to control more of the world, and Israel is at the dead center of his target - make no mistake.  Furthermore, the more he can control America…the MORE he can control and hinder the freedoms and blessings of Christians living in America (which also bleeds over into the loss of freedoms and blessings of non-Christians, and how much America can help Christians keep their freedoms in other nations outside America).   How has Satan always controlled?  Through leaders in government and in high places (i.e., business leaders) setting up Satan's rules of how things are to be ran. 

Satan doesn’t hate “America,” per se folks.  He hates the freedoms the Constitution of the United States gained for people living in America, and he hates devoted, Holy Spirit led Christians who reside in America (and of course, true Christians all over the world) who are serious about pleasing Jesus Christ according to His commandments as are given in the New Testament Bible.  

I realize much of what I've written here may well be a complete waste of time.  "Globalism" and "globalist thinking" has penetrated way too many brains of America's key decision makers.  Personally, I believe God desires to see a strong, independent America, as I believe He desires a strong, independent Israel.  Not a strong global conglomeration of godless leaders of nations in bed with each other riding off the blessings of America...that are diminishing quickly if righteous change doesn't happen soon in America.

Be sure to vote as God leads you in the up-coming elections.  Vote for courageous righteous leaders; these are the ones God will bless once they are in office.  Be sure to protest if God leads you.  Be sure to stand up for what God is clearly telling you to stand up for… and it all starts in prayer first.  Then God-endorsed actions can follow.   Having righteous leaders in position of power may not necessarily stop the slide of America ... but it certainly may greatly determine how much persecution will be allowed against Christians, as evil grows.
