I was born on July 5, 1964, in a Sindhi speaking Hindu family. As per the practice of my grandfathers and parents, I worshipped the graven images of different Gods.  I went to the temples – fasted – and I worshipped all the Sindhi “saints”, but none of all that gave me any peace in my heart.  I was always restless, empty, and feeling very hopeless.  Though I was very proud of being born into a Hindu family, I could never understand why I didn’t have peace in my heart, or why I was unable to get answers for all my problems.

In 1980 my whole family came to Jaipur and stayed there.  I was studying in Class 10^t during that time, but my heart was not settled.  Therefore I left the studies and thought that I must enjoy the life of the world.  I became infested by bad habits then.  I lost all my mental peace completely, and then I became a slave of every evil to be found in this world.

In 1985, on one day, I was going towards railway station of Jaipur.  I was completely broken and I did not know where I was going.  On the way I met a brother selling Christian books; I went to him, talked to him.  He told me about the love of God through Jesus Christ, and also told me that Jesus loves you and also told me that Jesus has taken away all our sins by dying on the cross of calvary to give me the redemption from sins and the true peace and salvation.  At that time I could not understand all these things.  I thought that they spread their religion and make people Christians.  Yet I thought that all the religions are the same.  Let me study little bit about this religion, I thought to myself, so I bought a few Christian books.

From the very beginning, I had the interest of corresponding, so I asked for many other books also.  When there was a big chunk of books, I sold them all and exchanged them and purchased some eatables.

One Sunday, while I was passing through the worship place, certainly I was pulled in by the Spirit into the church.  The Pastor was preaching about the love of God and it was there that I was convicted.  They gave me a new Hindi Bible and told me to read it.  I kept on going to the church and tried to understand the Word of God, and the Holy Spirit showed me all my sinful life and I repented from all my sins and received the forgiveness.  His blood washed me on March 31, 1986, at night.  I gave my life to Jesus Christ and accepted Him as my personal savior. 

A miraculous change took place in me.  I was married on March 15, 1988, to Kamla Parnani, a Sindhi girl.  She was a non-Christian believer before the marriage, but now she became a Christian believer on 8-5-1988.  I took water baptism.  My wife gave her life to Jesus on 20-10-1989 and took water baptism on 19-11-1989.  After the conversion of my wife, our entire family who are staunch Hindus turned against us and we suffered great persecution from them all, and for one year we had been roaming like homeless people. 

God blessed us with a baby boy on October 2, 1990.  We named him Ashish Parnani and a baby girl named Mahima Parnani on 5, September, 1992.  God gave us a burden for our lost Sindhi community.  In India, itself, there are 10 million Sindhis.  Please pray that house churches should be planted among the Sindhis.

We have a Sindhi church where there are around 200 Sindhi people who are coming to worship God.  We do not have a big worship hall of our own in Jaipur.  Please pray that God may provide a big worship place for us.

Our Goal is to see local churches established in each Sindhi populated town and cities and to train all the Sindhi believers how to share the gospel.  I presently am Pastoring a local Sindhi church.  Also I am training the new coverts to go and to witness to their own community.

Through our ministry, about 500 people as of this writing have accepted Jesus and gather for worship each week.  We need your prayers.

Dear Reader - are you at peace with God?  If not, you can be.  Do you know what awaits you when you die?  You can have the assurance from God that heaven will be your home, if you would like to be certain.  Either Jesus Christ died for your sins, or He didn't (He did!).  Are you prepared to stand before God on the Judgment Day and tell Him that you didn't need the shed blood of Jesus Christ on the Cross to have your sins forgiven and get in right-standing with God?  We plead with you...please don't make such a tragic mistake.
