BATES - AUSTIN REUNION

It is great to have the Bates - Austin Reunion.  There are not many of the old-timers left, but I bet most of them feel as I do. 

Bates was a good place to live and raise a family.  My husband and I raised five children at Bates.  They all went to grade school under Mr. Cardwell, and they all graduated from Prairie City High School.

It was a sad day when we had to move from Bates, and I go back every chance I get.  It is so good to see the people at the reunion.
